Tabletop decorative light brown walnut bowl sculpture and or serving bowl with elegant curvy lines and fancy figured wood grain patterns. Bowl is 8 inch tall, 10.5 wide, 25 long, 5 lbs, 9 oz.

… The recycled black walnut tree – about 60 years old – that provided the beautiful strongly grained wood for this sculpture had roughly a 24” diameter trunk and was about 40’ tall.  Unfortunately, it had to be removed for widening a road.  Some of its rustic exterior has been preserved to add character to the art.  Splits and cracks have been strengthened, sealed and smoothed with epoxy.
… A smooth and glossy shellac like finish protects this bowl's outside and a food safe odorless and tasteless mix of special oils and waxes protects the inside so it can hold and display anything but liquids or very moist items.  
… As for all my major sculptures, this piece comes with a personalized and printed "Certificate of Ownership" that explains the sculpture’s creation and history.

BEFORE BUYING, people in Portland, OR, area who wish to pickup their art in person must contact me via email (or 503-307-8292) BEFORE PURCHASE so I can reduce the shipping size/weight to 1 lb. & reserve the item for them.  Buyer would pay as if 1 lb. & I would reimburse.  Since shipping costs have skyrocketed, unfortunately, much of the cost of this item is in it's shipping.
