Unique planter, vase or standalone sculpture, golden brown, live edge without bark.  This freeform 42" diameter old growth driftwood tree root wood sculpture has thick, hard, and solid parts, juxtaposed with paper-thin adjacent features.  Without question, it is wabi-sabi (beautiful yet simple in its own natural unusual design) and rustic yet smooth.  Truly, if anything could be called one-of-a-kind, this amazing and inspiring sculpture is it.  This driftwood root (unknown wood species) from an old growth tree was found along the Pacific Ocean coast in Oregon, USA.  Size:  26 Tall x 24 x 10'', 15.46 lbs.; plant opening 4" diameter x 2.5" deep.
… A smooth satin oil based varnish-like finish protects this sculpture.

Care of your Valuable Art piece:
1.  The beauty of your art piece will best be maintained by periodically gently removing dust with a very soft brush on a vacuum cleaner, and perhaps occasionally rejuvenating the finish with a very light coat of Howard’s Feed-N-Wax (a blend of beeswax, Brazilian carnauba wax, mineral oil, and orange oil).
2. The wood for this sculpture was cured until it reached a moisture content similar to most homes.  In some pieces, natural cracks have been filled and others have been incorporated into the sculpture's design.  Occasionally, over time, more may form because additional drying can occur since residential and office humidity levels vary considerably.
3. Your art piece should NOT be displayed in direct sunlight (no wood likes direct sun) because strong light will fade its rich colors.
4. Display this treasure where it will be protected from chemicals and moisture.
