This rustic, organic, teardrop shaped, golden brown natural Ponderosa pine wood sculpture is about 38" tall, 9" wide, 6.25" deep and weighs 4 pounds.  
I have arbitrarily called one side the “front,” but it is fascinating from all sides.  The beautiful and intricate shape of this salvaged wild wood came from a tree about 48” in diameter and 60’ tall, approximately 200 years old.  It blew down in storm at least 50 years ago, then slowly cured on the plains of the dry eastern Oregon high desert where I discovered it.  
Years of weathering in the wind, rain, snow, and sun gave the wood a rough gray black exterior that resembles bark, but the bark itself fell off years ago.  Some of that rustic exterior has been preserved to add character to the art.
